Suffolk Safaris will introduce you to nature, your place in nature and will include field craft, tracking, identification and basic survival skills. It will connect you to your ancestors, your own evolution and to the spiritual connection with the Earth and our fellow creatures that is neccesary to really live with nature. You can come to me or I can come to you, I will introduce you to the earth or your chosen piece of it. I can realisically manage up to 6 people, per instructor at a time and I will do this for £50 per person for a weekend, with a discount for group bookings. If you think you may want to take this journey, have a read of the safaris page and email or call me to arrange the trip.
My workshops can include Art, Photography, Woodland Field Craft, Tool talk, Ecological Information, Survival Skills, Ancestoral Skills such as Stone Tools and many other aspects of rural life which affect our every day lives. Using my collection of unusual natural artifacts as a catalyst for conversation, participants have the opportunity to experience the spirit of the forest wherever they may be; to bring their own collections for identification and discussion and to work with the ideas and materials to express their own ideas and experience of the forest, of nature and of the workshop. Drawing, modelling, re-creation and realisation are my aim. Field study is possible and work shops can be tailored to your needs. Shelter building is a favourite. Work shops are £200 per day, with extra for support staff if necessary
A pictorial record of some of the ways people have found to live, or to spend time, which are quite different to those prescribed by modern society. Ideas of various ways to live differently, or to experiment with possibilities of sustainable living in preparation for what may become necessary as we move in to an uncertain future with notable reduction in available work, resourses, space and housing.!!!
