Sculpture

Much of my work in Sculpture is an interpretation of some aspect of the natural world or of man's interaction with it. Much of the work is designed with the people who comission the piece. Beginning with the materials, the local environment and their own interpretation of what it means to them, we will come up with some idea of what is required. With schools, I will encourage drawing and modelling and as the piece is designed a sence of understanding and belonging develops with the group. Community acheivment and group ownership develop as the piece is made, often on site.

Work can be commissioned for anything from nature reserve interpretation boards, functional furniture, theater sets, school and community art projects through to memorials, grand statements or artistic exploration.... What do you want ? What can you imagine ?
